American rapper P. Diddy, accused of sexual assault, has been arrested in the United States

American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested late Monday by police in Manhattan, the US federal justice system announced, after several complaints were filed against him, including for sexual assault.

In total, nine complaints have been filed against the rapper since November 2023.

The case has been settled “amicably” according to a confidential agreement.

Combs has been the subject of allegations of abuse since the 1990s, although he has never received any major convictions.
