Indeed, recently, an individual said he was preparing to release a book telling a fiction involving BLACKPINK, and the individual in question claims to be JENNIE’s father, which is false.
On September 6, Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment, stated:

Recently, there have been continuous false information and illegal publications containing false information pretending to be the artist’s father. We would like to firmly inform you that these claims are completely false and have no connection with the artist. We call on everyone to be careful when purchasing such illegal materials and to avoid any harm resulting from these false claims. We are taking legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods, including pursuing criminal prosecution for defamation and obstruction of business through our law firm.
In addition, we are also taking legal action against those responsible for defamation, sexual harassment, and malicious slander against our artist.
