The rapper also speaks about the lack of loyalty of rappers today.

Lacrim is back! For this year 2025the rapper starts strong with a powerful clip entitled “IVAR”which marks the beginning of a new era for him in the rap game. And this is only the beginning: the February 7he will unveil his highly anticipated album “REPRIM”before performing in the legendary concert hall Bercy the February 19. A true accomplishment for an artist who continues to push the boundaries.

In the middle of a promotion, anyone who wants to do another feat with Gradur was a guest on the show CKO this Sunday January 25. Lacrim took the opportunity to talk about his new album, his career and his vision of the music industry. He notably addressed a sensitive subject: the management of his label and the disillusionments he encountered with other artists.

“I will no longer sign anyone to my label”

Lacrim said he would no longer sign artists to his label, citing personal disappointments:

“I understand Booba when he says that he has helped a lot of people and these people insult his family. There are too many knives in the back in rap.”

This position echoes the tensions that can exist in the industry and highlights the challenges of helping young talent.

“With SCH, we no longer even have contact”

Lacrim also spoke about his relationship with a former protégé, SCH. If the two rappers have collaborated in the past and left their mark, it seems that their paths have diverged:

-

SCHit’s been a long time since I spoke with him, we don’t even have any contact at all anymore.”

In conclusion, Lacrim expressed his disenchanted vision of relationships in the rap world:

“In the end, if you give force to someone, it can be turn against you.”

With such frank remarks, Lacrim does not mince his words. While his album “REPRIM” fast approaching, the rapper seems ready to return to the forefront, more determined than ever.
