A carefully considered departure

In a personal message addressed to the public, Tim De Gieter explained the reasons for his departure, citing a divergence in creative and personal trajectories: “Over the last seven years, I have grown enormously alongside my friends Colin, Mathieu, Lennart and Bjorn. With growth also comes change, and while we have become closer than ever, we have also grown further apart in other ways. Today I feel the need to be faithful to my own creative process, which has evolved in a different direction from that of the group.”

Tim also expressed his wish to remain close to Amenra through a different role, notably by continuing to collaborate as a producer and sound engineer: “Producing and mixing with Amenra has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I hope that my future contribution, in another form, can further enrich the group.”
