This is information that had gone unnoticed a few months ago, in the middle of the cascade of announcements linked to the important change in schedule 2025 of SPFs. This summer, rail traffic between Friborg and Berne will be completely interrupted for at least eight weeks, from Saturday June 28 to Sunday August 24, replaced by a bus system. Maintenance work is planned on this major line where direct trains connecting Lausanne and Geneva to the capital. This large -scale project fell particularly badly, because from July 2 and throughout the month, Switzerland will host the Women’s Football Euro, with its million spectators expected in different stadiums in the country.
The largest sports event organized in Switzerland since the male euro in 2008 (jointly with Austria), the female euro based its concept of mobility on public transport. The match tickets will notably allow you to go to the Stade on the day of the game.
