What does this 40th “Victoires de la Musique” ceremony have in store for us? This will be broadcast on France 2 on February 14, live from the Scène musicale, near Paris. Thus Solann, Pierre Garnier, Lucky Love, Aliocha Schneider, Yoa and Styleto will try to win the precious trophy and succeed Yamê and Zaho de Sagazan. This ceremony, chaired by one of the faces of French song for years Alain Souchon, promises to be more open.
It is the singer Santa, nominated in 4 categories, who holds the record for nominations this year. Alyocha Schneider and Solann follow with 3 nominations. We will also note the presence of the phenomenon of the year, Pierre Garnier. The winner of the latest edition of the “Star Academy” is named twice. Rap is not forgotten since Gims, Tiakola and Shay are also part of the list of contenders for the awards. These nominations were a major surprise in the concert category. “The opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games”, directed by Thomas Jolly and whose soundtrack was composed by Victor Le Masne, are among the nominees.
