VIDEO – The American podcast host Mike D was questioning the artist 2 Low when the latter pressed, apparently without doing it on purpose, the trigger of the revolver which was in the pocket of his jeans.
The interview could have turned into drama. For the first episode of season 2 of his podcast entitled “One on One with Mike D” and posted on YouTube on December 31, Mike D invited rapper 2 Low. Together, they retraced the journey of this 49-year-old artist from Houston. But as they talked about the importance of the choices they had to make, 2 Low began to reach into the left pocket of his worn jeans, inside which he had stored a gun.
It went off, causing a loud bang, without its owner having to take it out, and a bullet pierced his pants. On set, relaxation quickly gave way to worry. Both men appeared shocked. “Who shot who? Was anyone hit?”asked Mike D, particularly calm. “Are you okay, Low?”someone asked off camera. “I hope”simply replied the rapper before getting worried in turn: “Everything is fine ?”.

To make sure no one was hit, the host then got up and started looking around the room for the ball, to no avail. Still off camera, one person kept repeating the word «Fuck». Despite the situation, Mike D continued his show as if nothing had happened and preferred to see the bright side of things saying that every time they both get together, “we make history, so I guess we just made history”.
Shortly after the video went viral in the United States, Internet users did not fail to express their disbelief, some believing that the safety catch on the firearm would have made it possible to avoid a accidental shooting. “We all know that negativity sells and gets people talking”the rapper only reacted on his Instagram account.
