Progressive Melodic Death Metal legends Amorphis have announced that they have officially entered the studio to record their 15th studio album.
A musical start to the year for Amorphis
In a recent social media post, the members of Amorphis confirmed that they have begun the recording process for their new album. The group shared a photo while shopping with the following message: “New year, new Amorphis? Absolutely ! We've officially entered the studio to record #Amorphis15 – stay tuned for more information soon. Also, we were thirsty.”
Although no additional information regarding the release date or title of the album has yet been revealed, this announcement marks another step in the group's rich discography.

European tour planned for October and November
Before unveiling this new opus, Amorphis will join Arch Enemy, Eluveitie and Gatecreeper for a European tour next fall. Fans will have the opportunity to see the band live in prestigious venues across Europe.

- 21 octobre : Zurich, The Hall
- October 23: Lyon, Radiant Bellevue
- October 27: Paris, Zénith
