JYP USA has released an official response to the statement made by former VCHA member KG.
On December 8, KG announced on Instagram that she had filed a lawsuit to leave the group and terminate her contract with JYP Entertainment. In her statement, she also accused JYP staff of abuse and of pushing a member of the group to attempt suicide.

On December 9, JYP USA then responded by releasing the following statement:
” Hello everyone,
This is JYP USA.
We would like to address the recent complaint filed by Kiera Grace Madder (hereinafter referred to as “KG”) and her public statements on social media.
In May this year, KG left the group’s residence and began discussions through his legal representatives. In response, we have temporarily suspended planned VCHA activities and engaged in in-depth discussions with KG representatives to explore potential resolutions. However, recently we have received no response from KG representatives, leaving our legal representatives awaiting further communications.
We deeply regret KG’s decision to take legal action and make unilateral public statements containing false and exaggerated allegations. This action caused significant harm to the other members of VCHA and JYP USA who have been working seriously on their next album and their plans for early 2025.
JYP USA will take all necessary steps to ensure that neither other members of VCHA nor JYP USA suffer further harm as a result of this matter.
Merci.
Sincerely,
JYP USA »
