The four dates to remember from Some Produkt’s end-of-year programming

-

Nicole Laurenne, singer and organist of The Darts, is putting her band’s tour on hold to offer four dates in France with another collective: Black Viiolet. Her first part will be provided by one of the seven Périgord bands on the lineup: The Prehisterics. “We made it a point of honor to promote the locals,” says Marc Roumagne, treasurer of Some Produkt.

This Saturday, September 14, at 8:30 p.m., at the Rousseau mill. Entrance: 12 euros.

2 The Day-off label celebrates its 15th anniversary

Some Produkt invites its Bergerac counterpart, Day-off for its 15th anniversary. To mark the occasion and celebrate a “friendly association”, the Périgueux group has prepared two evenings of concerts and has given carte blanche to the Bergerac group for the second. On the menu: four groups between post-punk, noise rock and grunge, some of which are members of the Day-off label.

Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September at 8:30 p.m. at the Moulin du Rousseau. One-day pass, 10 euros; two days, 15 euros.

3 After Seattle, Los Angeles comes to Périgord

The garage psych band The Lords of Altamont will be passing through Périgord. “We saw that they were preparing a tour, so we took the opportunity to intercept them,” explains the association’s office. Marc Roumagne takes care of 70% of the programming via his acquaintances, platinum or live listening, bookers or direct requests from the bands. This date will be the last before a long break for work.

Saturday, November 2 at the Rousseau mill. Entrance: 13 euros.

4 The 33rd edition of Christmas for All

For its last date in 2024, Some Produkt is renewing its partnership with the Restos du cœur. The concept is simple: to participate in the evening, you have to show up with a new toy, which will be redistributed to the association. “It works because, when you look at the quality of the toys, it’s often more expensive than a cash ticket,” notes president Virginie Labrousse-Roumagne.
