Former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones is teaming up with the band’s guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz for a new project called Burn Eternal. Their first album is ready and should be released in 2025.

A project that is taking shape after years of preparation

Howard Jones announced on social media on December 3 that Burn Eternal, his collaborative project with Adam Dutkiewicz, had finally finished mixing his debut album. In a message accompanied by a photo of the two musicians, Howard wrote: “It was a busy year, but we finally mixed our album. Our schedules made this project longer than expected, thank you for your patience. We are Burn Eternal. See you soon.”

Adam Dutkiewicz also explained during an interview with TotalRock how this project came about: “Howard contacted me asking me to compose for him. I accepted and we started working on an album.”

An impatiently awaited album

Although mixing has been completed, no specific date has been announced for the album’s release. Adam clarified: “It’s difficult to give a precise date because of my busy schedule, especially with the new Killswitch Engage album.”

However, fans can expect a debut single soon, offering a taste of this highly anticipated collaboration between two iconic figures of the Metalcore scene.

A significant return for Howard Jones

Since leaving Killswitch Engage in 2012, Howard Jones has gone through difficult times, marked by mental health issues and diabetes. He has since bounced back with Light The Torch and even joined his former Killswitch Engage bandmates as a guest on the track The Signal Fire in 2019.

With Burn Eternal, Howard Jones and Adam Dutkiewicz promise to mark a new chapter in their respective careers, while offering fans music that meets their expectations.
