Louane in the M Radio studios.

There is an answer to his latest single.

This Friday, July 5, Louane was the guest of “16-20” by Constance Vercamer and Jérôme Zano on M Radio to present her new single, “La pluie”. A title of circumstance… And we could not be more right, as the singer tells us behind the scenes of this song.

“We were in Greece to work on the album and to escape the rain and the song was born like that because it rained the whole stay… It rained all the time and that’s where the song “La pluie” was born. It talks about the fact that, when you’re in a more or less long relationship, you have to go through intense lows to enjoy the highs. It’s completely personal, but it’s cool because it’s also something that “adapts” to any relationship. Here, it happens to be about my current romantic relationship but I think everyone can identify with it and it can work with your friend, with your sister, we all get into fights with people all the time.”

Of course, Jérôme and Constance asked Louane what would have happened if the weather had been nice during this stay in Greece…

“So, it’s funny but there’s a song on my next album that responds to “The Rain” called “Sun”. It’s very very special to me because it’s a feat with my lover, Pegasus.”

After the rain, the sun, as the saying goes. And this variety will also be found in Louane’s new opus, the outline of which she has kindly outlined for us.

“It’s an album that is in line with everything we’ve heard on the “Sentiments” project. Not only the album but also the reissue. There are also a lot of things that I’ve done live over the last year and a half. We’re going to find three major musical genres. There are up-tempos like “La pluie”, there’s another genre that I wanted to explore which is cinematic pop, it’s close to my song “Mes étoiles” and it’s very inspired by artists like Jake and the last big trend, ultimately, it’s what’s most obvious about me, it’s big ballads.”

An enticing program that clearly makes you want to try it!
