Vitaa reveals how she wrote “Nocturnal Confessions” with Diam’s: “We told each other about our lives…”

She obviously mentions Mélanie, better known as Diam’s, for whom she still has great affection. “At that time, in rap, there weren’t many girls”tell Vitaaas reported Cosmopolitan. “We meet in a hotel room, and there, immediately, it seems obvious. […] It was a match straight away, human love at first sight, two girlfriends, a bit of soul mates.” Then, Diam’s will invite Vitaa on his album.

This is how “Nocturnal Confessions” will be written. But both friends did not expect such success… “Without knowing it, we are going to write a song, a UFO which will cross time and whose success will completely surpass us. When we are at home, all night long we tell each other about our lives as women, our romantic setbacks, our disasters. Our confessions.”

The title is therefore inspired by their viesof their relationships. “When we write the song, we say to ourselves, ‘What are we doing?'”explained the singer during an interview with Cosmopolitan. There, the two friends decide to tell what they do when they are together: “Our stories as women, our love setbacks, because we were both in toxic relationships all the time and we didn’t realize it because we were young”. Diam’s and Vitaa have therefore decided to “an extremely sincere piece”. “I think the strength of this song is this girl power side, where girls take ownership of the song and say to themselves, ‘I’m like them too'”adds Vitaa.

“I didn’t come to talk about that”: questioned about the accusations against Slimane, Vitaa reframes the presenter of “C à vous”

She also talks about how filming went clipwhich has also become cult. “For the record, I’m supposed to be in drama mode and I’m crying, but we were dying of laughter with Mélanie.”
