An opus that she announces as “the most personal» of his career, at the microphone of NRJ.
Many fans hope that this project will be like “Espresso” which she describes as a “fun that reflects his personality”. The title which combines vintage sounds and a sexy message was invented in France.The song was created in Chailland, which is a small town. There’s really nothing there. So we had to make fun music to compensate for the fact that there wasn’t much to do around there.” explains Sabrina Carpenter.
“I wrote “Espresso” when no one was addicted to me”
“Espresso” evokes love addiction. Sabrina Carpenter sings, in fact, with humor about her way of keeping her man awake all night, like a coffee would do. So was she inspired by her love experience to create the summer sensation?
“It’s funny because I wrote the song when no one was into me. I wasn’t in a relationship. But I wanted it very badly, Sabrina Carpenter candidly reveals. That’s kind of how I’ve always done it. I really feel like I’m writing songs and six months later they come to life in a different way for me. It was like a projection.»
