“Swift mania” continues in Toronto where singer Taylor Swift is performing until November 23. Among the admirers who managed to get their hands on tickets is a family from Trois-Rivières.
They are dressed in pink, black, gold sequins and they have smiles split from ear to ear. In an interview with -, Martine Lefebvre and her daughter Clara Gervais share their excitement, a few hours before attending the concert of the most popular singer on the planet.
We are 100% swifties as you can see
says Martine Lefebvre.
The Swift mania
gradually settled into the family when Clara fell in love with the American artist several years ago. We’ve always loved Taylor Swift honestly, ever since the girls were little, we’ve been listening to her songs
explains the mother.
She, her partner and her three daughters went to Toronto to attend the singer’s sixth tour.
This Eras Tour is really bigger than us. […] It’s very unifying, it’s a super positive message!
For Clara and Martine, it’s the spirit of community that makes a Taylor Swift show so special. A unifying moment, partly caused by the personality of the celebrity. We really like the way she acts, then the shows obviously, the choreography, the music… Everything is extraordinary
underlines Martine.
And look signed Swift
The family’s colorful and festive outfits have a very special meaning, as for a large part of the public who will attend the concert.
It’s the Eras Tour, and for each Era, each era, corresponds to an album. Each person who goes to the show chooses an album or song, then dresses according to the associated theme
explains Martine Lefebvre.
She and her partner opted for candy pink, the symbol of the album Lover. And Clara dressed in gold sequins identifies with the song I can do it with a broken heartwhich is in the latest album of the American artist.
But the Swift mania
is not just part of clothing, it is everywhere. Around the Stadium, Taylor Swift music is everywhere. […] It goes far, there are places where there were photos, of Taylor with flowers, etc. We even saw a Taylor Swift karaoke
underlines the mother from Trois-Rivières.
Two of her daughters also attended Taylor Swift’s first show in Toronto, thus attending the concert twice. This family celebration is part of this year’s Christmas gift.
It’s just a unique experience. With all the songs, all the settings… It’s just an inexplicable experience
details Clara who does not mind seeing and seeing her favorite artist on stage again.
