Andreas Kisser is open to the idea of Max and Igor Cavalera joining Sepultura for one last farewell concert

Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser recently spoke about the possibility of reuniting with his former traveling companions Max and Igor “Iggor” Cavalera for one last concert during the band’s farewell tour. In an interview with Metal Hammer, Kisser was open to the idea, while emphasizing the need for a festive atmosphere.

“I don’t deny that it would be great to have one last show with them, but it has to be great.”said Mr. Kisser. “People need to be there to celebrate and not to argue about who was right or wrong about decisions of the past. In the end, we celebrate today’s Sepultura. If they want to be a part of it, that would be great.”

Kisser’s comments follow Max Cavalera’s recent interview with Rock Hard Greece, where he mentioned that he had not been approached by the current Sepultura lineup for a final gig.

Sepultura’s current lineup includes Kisser, vocalist Derrick Green, bassist Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. and touring drummer Greyson Nekrutman (who succeeded Eloy Casagrande, who has since joined Slipknot).
