The 2Be3 clearly marked an entire era. Childhood friends, Adel, Filip and Frank made girls and boys scream during the boy band’s lightning but intense success. From the gymnasiums of Longjumeau to Bercy, the three boys blew up the rankings in 1996 with their hits “Partir un jour”, “Toujours là pour toi”, “2Be3”, “La salsa” and “Don’t Say Goodbye”. It’s simple, they were at the heart of a real phenomenon and have sold more than five million records, even landing their own sitcom on TF1. “ As far as I’m concerned, it was a summary, it was madness, but it was a phenomenon that changed my life (…) We were everywhere! You heard us everywhere, you saw us everywhere. It may have been unpleasant at one point. It was annoying for people. But we were lucky to be a group of friends, so we defended ourselves with that. Obviously, there was marketing, but we kept our real first names, we were real friends » explained Frank Delay, now an actor, in an interview on Purecharts.

Covers and new tracks!

Having continued his career in the theater or on the small screen, as in “Camping Paradis” or “The Mysteries of Love”, Frank Delay – who refused to do “Dancing with the Stars” – never stopped music . With Chris Keller of G Squad and singer Allan Théo, they even created the group Génération Boys Band, giving concerts everywhere to ride the nostalgia. Transformed into a duo, the project continues, and Frank is even working on a new album, his sidekick in G Squad. “ We are currently working with Chris on an album of 12 acoustic tracks, 8 covers that are close to our hearts and 4 compositions » writes the one who already revealed the unreleased track “J’me remember” at the start of the year, and who now offers a cover of the hit “Partir un jour”, which made him famous.

TO READ – Frank “millionaire” with 2be3, he says: “It was poorly managed”

Leaving one day without return / Erasing our love / Without looking back / Not regretting / Keeping the moments we stole » sing Frank and Chris on a new refined production, mixing piano notes and guitar chords, still retaining the soul of this pop title which made the whole of France dance.
