Judas Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner recently shared that despite their busy touring schedule, the band continues to work on new musical ideas. In an interview with KNAC.COMFaulkner discussed the creative future of Judas Priest: “Our tours tend to evolve over time, and the more we do, the more offers we receive from new territories. So, I’m sure there will be more dates to come. There are always ideas that arise, the creative flows are always there. If we have time early next year, we will probably put these ideas together and see where we are.”
A group in perpetual evolution
Judas Priest has just concluded the second part of its tour Invincible Shieldaccompanied by Sabaton, with a series of 23 concerts across North America. The success of this tour testifies to the group’s renewed popularity, a recognition that goes well beyond its classics. Rob Halford, the band’s legendary singer, recently said in an interview for Full Metal Jackie : “We are honored to still be so current. Judas Priest is a band that doesn’t just live off its past glory. What we are doing now, with Invincible Shield, shows where we are today.”
