A tribute to Halloween, the video for “Malignant Perfection” announces the more or less imminent arrival of the 14th CRADLE OF FILTHthe title and release date of which are currently unknown. And remind us in passing that the “By Order Of The Dragon” tour, which will have just started when you read these lines, will make 2 stops in France, on November 28 in Lyon (La Rayonne) and on the 30 in Vauréal (Le Forum ). BLOODYWOODthe most famous Indian metal band, returns with a brand new single, “Nu Delhi”, an ode to New Delhi, the musicians’ hometown. After a trial between members of the group over who had the right to use the name BATUSHKA, Bartłomiej 'Bartholomew' Krysiuk, who lost, launched PATRIARCHH. Who will release his first/new album on January 3, “ПРОРОК ИЛИЯ” (pronounced “Prorok Ilja”). It is preceded by “ВЕРШАЛИН III” (pronounced “Wierszalin III”).
SORTIES
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD has released a new song, “Hollywood Forever”, which marks the opening of a new chapter in his career with his signing to Sumerian Records. And used it to inaugurate new masks signed Jerry Constantine, specialist in makeup and special effects (The Chronicles of Riddick, Watchmen).
To accompany the end of year celebrations, DORO will offer “Rock 'n' Roll X-Mas Party”, a 2-track available on November 22 on green vinyl and in digital version.
LIVE
Recorded at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles on the final sold-out US tour of G3“Reunion Live” will be in stores on January 31, 2025. This is the original line-up behind the concept created by Joe Satrinai in 1996 – Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and himself – who will be found on this live set of 26 tracks – 8 of Oras many of the New Yorkers and 7 of Johnsonplus 3 jams, including “Crossroads”. It will be available in various formats, including a Deluxe Edition/Book/2 CD, 4 LP Gatefold and 2 CD Digipack.
Nine months after the death of Tony Clarkin, MAGNUM announced the release, on January 10, of a double live CD, triple vinyl, “Live At KK's Steel Mill”. Captured on December 10, 2022, this is the late guitarist/composer's final live recording. To pay tribute to its leader, the British prog rock group will give 5 concerts in England at the end of January under the name “A Passage In Time”.

FESTIVALS
The “TOOL Live In The Sand” 1st of the name will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from March 7 to 9. The group will give two “unique” concerts there and will be surrounded by MASTODON, PRIMUS, COHEED AND CAMBRIA, KING'S X, EAGLES OF DEATH METAL, FISHBONE, CKY, WHEEL and MOONWALKER.
GUESTS
TESTAMENT invited Floor Jansensinger of NIGHTWISH, to record a slower track which will appear on the successor to “Titans Of Creation” (2020), currently being recorded.
ANNIVA'
To celebrate its 60 years of existence, SCORPIONS will perform an exceptional concert in his hometown of Hanover, Germany, on July 5 at the Heinz Von Heiden Arena. JUDAS PRIEST is the first special guest announced from the “60th Anniversary – Coming Home” guests.
Before founding EPICA in 2002, guitarist/singer Mark Jansen worked withinAFTER FOREVER. Who will reform for an exceptional concert, on October 4, 2025 in Tilburg, in the Netherlands, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Prisoner Of Desire”, his calling card. Please note, this will be the original line-up minus its singer at the time, a certain Floor Jansen, from NIGHTWISH, who will be replaced for the occasion by Angel Wolf-Black (SHE-WOLF).

DD Varnished suffering from a recurring shoulder problem, it is Christian Olde Wolbers, bassist of POWERFLO and ex-FEAR FACTORY, who replaces him at OVERKILLcurrently on North American tour supporting KING DIAMOND. Last April, it was David Ellefson (ex-MEGADETH) who played backup in South America, while Christian “Speesy” Giesler of KREATOR was on stage with the New Jersey thrashers on a number of dates of their recent European tour.

The “older” among you may rememberInger Lorresinger of NYMPHSan American alternative group, which had its hour of glory in the early 90s. The singer and songwriter, aged 61, who had a solo career, died of cancer 15 days after her mother, on October 16.
Paul Di'Annowho was the first singer of IRON MAIDEN, has died. The group paid tribute to him.

TRIAL
On January 6, 2021, Jon Schafferguitarist and leader ofICED EARTHwas among the pro-Trump demonstrators who stormed the Capitol, in full certification of the victory of Joe Biden, elected President of the United States. After 12 days on the run, he finally surrendered to the authorities, while his musicians left the group which lost its contract with its record company. Fast forward : after having had a hard time in prison, Schaffer ultimately received a sentence of 3 years of parole, 120 hours of community service and will have to pay $1,000 in restitution and a $200 financial assessment. The musician issued a long statement with the air of mea culpa in which he said, among other things: « Jtake responsibility for my actions. I admit I made a huge mistake…”.
