TV series: the Bouleys and the Lepics come back for a spin

We haven’t seen them on screen since December 2020. Four years after making their return in a special Christmas episode, the Lepic and the Bouley from “Fais pas ci, fait pas ça” are preparing for a new comeback . Filming of a new double episode of the cult France 2 series began on May 13, 2024, in the Paris region. It should last a month. And go put them into orbit, no less.

In this new story entitled “We’re going to walk on the Moon”, we will find the two families five years after leaving them during the first Christmas after confinement. The children, now adults, register their parents in a major competition organized by the European Space Agency aimed at recruiting and training non-professional citizens to go to the Moon. “And against all expectations, they are chosen…” explains France 2, in its official synopsis.

This new episode will be divided into two 52-minute parts, reports “Première” magazine. No broadcast date has yet been scheduled, but we already know that we will find in the casting all the actors of the series: Valérie Bonneton and Guillaume de Tonquédec take up the roles of Fabienne and Renaud Lepic, Isabelle Gélinas and Bruno Salomone, those by Valérie and Denis Bouley. The children’s performers will also be there, including Yannis Lespert (Christophe Lepic).

Broadcast between 2007 and 2017, “Don’t do this, don’t do that” had nine seasons and 68 episodes – not counting the special “Will there be Christmas at Christmas?” in December 2020. The series follows the daily life of two neighboring families and friends, the Bouleys, rather bobos, and the Lepics, conservative Catholics. It was exported to several European countries and was adapted in particular in Italy, under the name “Come Fai Sbagli”.
