Jul returns with “13’Organisé 2”, second album bringing together Marseille hip-hop – rts.ch

After the success of a first collective album in 2020, Jul, a 34-year-old rapper from Marseille, brings together the All-Marseille crowd again and releases the record “13’Organisé 2”. The record was released after a first piece unveiled this summer entitled “Organized Band 2”, the clip of which received more than two million views in 48 hours.

If the first opus of the project already brought together many artists – around fifty -, this second album is bursting at the seams. More than 150 Marseille artists responded, from the most obscure to the most high-profile. A veritable army which, on the one hand, highlights promising new talents on the scene and, on the other, honors legends like Akhenaton (IAM), Le Rat Luciano (La Fonky Family), Soprano (Psy4 de la Rime), Bouga or even Kenza Farah.

Beyond being a feat in terms of organization, “13’Organisé 2” is a way of uniting the artistic scene of the Marseille city in Music. The real tour de force for Jul is his devotion to his city, but also to his musical culture.

If France seems disunited from a political or social point of view, Marseille, thanks to Jul, demonstrates unfailing solidarity and proves that rap represents much more than popular music.

This new album composed of 34 tracks, which ends with a freestyle in eight parts where the 165 rappers present are concentrated, thus constitutes a sound photograph of the musical landscape of the Bouches-du-Rhône department whose official code is 13.
