An evening that turned her life upside down… In 1977, at just 20 years old, Marie Myriam won Eurovision with the song L’Oiseau et l’Enfant. Faced with Jordan de Luxe, the 67-year-old singer explained: “In truth, I came to understand that the error came from the fact that, I don’t know why, I didn’t have my full social security number. So it couldn’t be recorded. My fees were paid but they were never counted towards my retirement.”before letting go: “It’s sweet for me, my best three years are gone”.

In complete transparency, Marie Myriam added: “I’m not going to complain, I have 1200 eurosbut it’s not the retirement I was hoping for.”. A sequence which caused a lot of reaction from Internet users… “‘I’m not going to complain, I have 1200 euros’. Marie Myriam: what did she think of Slimane’s performance?

This year, it was Slimane who represented France in the Eurovision contest with the song Mon amour. Monday May 13, 2024, on the set of Bonjour on TF1, Marie Myriam indicated: “He gave a spectacular performance. I would have liked him to win, because for me it was a real song. His song is so simple and beautiful. He sang it with his heart, with his soul. So for me, it was him”.
