He is in fact far from his two sons, Oscar and Léon, aged 21 and 19 respectively. And in an interview granted this May 15 to the media Soir Mag, the 65-year-old singer spoke about the challenges imposed on him by this life far from his family but especially about his relationship with old age and fatherhood.

“Age doesn’t worry me in itself. I would say the idea of ​​getting older has become more complicated since I had children. I would like to be there as long as possible to see what they will do, what they will become”confesses Patrick Bruel.

A legacy already well established for the sons of Patrick Bruel

The singer says to himself “terrified” at the idea of ​​missing “phases of accomplishment in their lives”. “There, they are in moments of creation, of development”, he explains. Patrick Bruel nevertheless assures us: he is not afraid of growing old, claiming to have never looked his age, thanks to sport and a healthy lifestyle.

But that the interpreter of Break your voice is reassured: the future seems bright for his two sons, who are currently studying in the United States. One of the two is also in the middle of a neuroscience course!

Last November, Patrick Bruel, however, admitted on RTL that he wanted his sons to return to France. “I know these are their roots, I want them to have French roots. I want them to know where they are, to have their feet on the ground. France is our country, our anchor. It is a country that I love deeply, to which I owe everything and I am happy to honor it as best I can.”declared the singer.

He also detailed his ambitious project for the future: passing on to his two sons his “LEOS estate” acquired in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, in Provence, where he produces olive oil.
