Tool, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer singer Maynard James Keenan and his wife Jennifer have opened a new vinyl cafe near Phoenix, Arizona. The Queen B Vinyl Café, which opens on October 23, will host concerts by bands such as Thou and Galactic Empire.

Queen B Vinyl Café: a unique place for music lovers and more

Queen B Vinyl Café, located in Cottonwood, Arizona, is more than just a coffee shop. Result of a relocation and rebranding of the former Puscifer The Store, this new space promises to become an essential place for lovers of music, wine and alternative culture. This innovative concept combines a record store, a wine bar, a hair salon, a coffee roaster and even a ramen restaurant.

Jennifer Keenan explained the vision behind this change: “Relocating and renaming Puscifer The Store to Queen B Vinyl Café is not just about a change of location, it is about seizing new opportunities. With our new location, we can host more live events while expanding our culinary offerings with the addition of a coffee roaster and ramen house.”

Varied events and eclectic programming

The Queen B Vinyl Café will host a series of concerts throughout the month of October, featuring performances from bands such as Thou, who specialize in sludge metal, and Galactic Empire, a Progressive Metal band inspired by Star Wars. But that’s not all: the café also plans book signings, comedy shows, dance parties, and much more.

The full schedule of upcoming events is available on Eventbrite, and traveling hairdressers and tattoo artists will also be invited to perform on site. This further reinforces the versatile and innovative aspect of the venue, which aims to become a dynamic cultural center in the region.

A showcase of Maynard James Keenan’s musical treasures

In addition to live events, Queen B Vinyl Café’s record store will feature rare and exclusive items related to Maynard’s bands, including Tool, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. As for the bar, it will offer wines from Keenan Vineyards in Arizona: Caduceus Cellars, Merkin Vineyards and Four 8 Wineworks. This unique blend of music, food and wine should attract both music fans and epicureans curious to discover Maynard’s creative universe.
