His comeback already well underway, Kendji Girac returned to the unfailing support of his partner Soraya and their new family life since the incident last April.

After several months spent in withdrawal, Kendji Girac has unveiled a new album. Called “Living…”, the disc notably evokes the incident during which he was injured in the chest after a deliberately provoked shot. In the title “I have changed”, he addresses himself directly to The company Soraya : “I changed for you. I changed so much, I made my choice for a thousand years, I changed infinitely, I am writing you the life after, be my family…”.

“This text is addressed to my wife, because I thought a lot about her when I recorded this song”he explained to Laurent Delahousse on the set of “8:30 p.m. on Sunday”. “I was very moved to be able to sing this to her, to be able to comfort her with these wordsbecause they are quite strong words, and above all true, which once again come from the heart.”

“She has always been there from the beginning, she is a very strong woman”

“She has always been there from the beginning, she is a very strong woman, contrary to what has been said in the media”he added. “SO I had to tell him that I have changed and that I want to do good things. With this song, I wanted to tell her the truth, to reassure her because I want to be the foundation of my family, I am here for her.”

The couple now lives in a house located in Essonne, in the region. “There is a lot of love at home, and a lot of smiles, so I am happy”he further clarified. “I’m very happy to let him see that everything is okay.”

On April 22, the winner of the 2014 edition of the show “The Voice” was hospitalized after a serious gunshot wound to the thorax during an accident in a Traveler reception area in Biscarrosse, in the Landes. During a press conference a few days later, the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, Olivier Janson, explained that the artist had wanted fake suicide to scare his partner who threatened to leave him after an argument.

For her part, Kendji’s partner declared in the press that he did not “never blackmailed suicide”. “It never existed. I never suffered the slightest violence whatsoever from him.”she assured.
