After putting SEVENTEEN’s album on sale at an exorbitant price, PLEDIS Entertainment lowers its price and explains itself – K-GEN

PLEDIS Entertainment had to provide explanations.

Recently, the deluxe version of SEVENTEEN’s album “17 IS RIGHT HERE” went on sale for 170,800 won (116 euros), a price that quickly made fans jump in anger.

Indeed, SEVENTEEN fans quickly expressed their indignation at such a price for an album. It remained at this price until the anger of the fans made the agency react.

During the day, PLEDIS Entertainment quickly changed the sale price, raising it to 83,400 won (56 euros) to calm the anger of fans. Currently, a reduction is even offered on this price to bring it down to 69,500 won (47 euros).

PLEDIS Entertainment explained that this was a simple error, stating:

“In line with our intention to make the best album accessible to more fans, adjustments have been made to components and prices.
An operational error led the distributor to initially offer the album at the scheduled price rather than the final price, causing a discrepancy in the listed price.

For those who have already made purchases, retailers will provide instructions on refunds. We deeply apologize for any confusion surrounding this highly anticipated best-of. Rest assured, steps will be taken to avoid such errors in the future. »
