After winning seven Césars, including an honorary one, the former sidekick of Jean-Pierre Bacri has already released three albums. And she has just published a new one, called “Waiting for the sun to come back”, on September 20. Surprise: the project is signed on the Baboo Music label, co-founded by Aurélie Cabrel, the daughter of Francis Cabrel.
Thus, while she talks about the adoption of her children on the song “La Seine à Rio”, Agnès Jaoui shares an event duet with Francis Cabrel, entitled “Si tu me dices ven”, which has just been sent to radio French. Together, the two artists revisit this classic of the Spanish repertoire, originally performed by the trio Los Panchos in 1977. A video published on YouTube shows the tandem and their musicians creating this delicate reinterpretation in the singer’s studios, in his village Astaffort .
