Less than two years of marriage, and the divorce is already almost finalized for Jiyeon (T-ARA) and baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun.
Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun got married in December 2022. For several months, rumors of separation have been spreading, and a divorce has been mentioned since the summer. The rumors started following a message from a sports commentator during a match from Hwang Jae Gyun who mentioned his divorce.
This October 5, 2024, media confirm that Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun are divorcing.
According to the information revealed, the couple requested divorce mediation last month, and so they will now move on to the mediation process, a period of discussions and negotiations to try to end their marriage amicably without go before a court.
Knowing that they got married in December 2022, they therefore filed for divorce less than two years after their marriage.
