Ghost Unveils Details of Debut Feature Film, Rite Here Rite Now

Ghost, the enigmatic Swedish rock band, have announced the release of their first full-length film, Rite Here Rite Now, which will be screened in cinemas around the world this June. This cinematic adventure will blend electrifying footage from the September 11 and 12 concerts at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, with a complex narrative that intersects with the band’s history, as presented in the “Chapters” series.

Directed by Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge and Alex Ross Perry, known for his work on Her Smell, Rite Here Rite Now promises a spellbinding fusion of live performances and gripping storytelling. The film captures the essence of Ghost’s theatrical “live ritual” at the end of their Re-Imperatour USA 2023, featuring popular songs as well as familiar faces from the band’s universe.

The film will premiere on June 20 and 22 in most markets, with a special screening in France on June 23. Fans can expect the film’s soundtrack to be released by Loma Vista Recordings, which will further enhance the immersive experience of Rite Here Rite Now.

Tickets for the event go on sale May 9 at ritehereritenow.com. Whether you’re a devoted follower or a curious newcomer, Rite Here Rite Now promises to captivate audiences with its grand yet intimate depiction of the extraordinary Ghost universe.
