BIGHIT MUSIC is looking for its next boy band.
On Thursday, May 2, the Seoul-based record label, home to global pop icons BTS and Gen Z stars TOMORROW as part of its search for new talents around the world.
From June 1 to August 31, BIGHIT MUSIC will hold in-person auditions in seventeen cities, including Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Aside from the Asian legs, in-person auditions will also take place in Hawaii, Los Angeles, Orange County, Vancouver, Toronto, Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne. For on-site auditions, registration begins on-site at 11 a.m. local time on the same day.
Offline events are also planned at select audition locations, including The Source OC in Buena Park, Orange County, California, and select movie theaters in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Vietnam , and in Jakarta, Indonesia. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to participate in the BIGHIT MUSIC WORLD AUDITION 2024 and they can register online from May 2 to August 31 on the official website. Performance categories include singing, acting and modeling.
While singing entries must include a video or sound recording of dancing, singing or rapping as well as a full body photo, acting entries must include a free performance video with 2 photos including one of the body whole body and another of the head, and finally those for modeling must be accompanied by a public relations video in which the candidate presents himself as well as 2 photos including one of the whole body and another of the head.
BIGHIT MUSIC said in a statement: » We are enthusiastically organizing a series of attractive events where applicants can audition in a relaxed atmosphere ” while adding: “We look forward to the participation of talented individuals eager to showcase their unique charm.”
