In the next episode of “More beautiful life, even more beautiful”… The judge makes a radical decision for Kilian. For her part, Jennifer puts words to her relationship with Samuel and Vanessa reveals her painful past to Ulysses.

Is Jennifer in love with Samuel?
In the early morning, Jennifer takes advantage of Samuel going to the bakery to clean up. When he returns, he discovers that his apartment is finally put in order. Jennifer explains that she’s not used to being messy, and that she was just too busy to clean up.
At the doctor’s office, Jennifer is still in her thoughts. Léa asks her if everything is okay, and the secretary replies that she spent the night with Samuel. She wonders if he wants a One-night stand or if he has feelings for her. Léa advises him to go home, and above all, not to ask any more questions.
Back at Samuel’s house, Jennifer suggests that they go to a restaurant for dinner. The latter is embarrassed, he tells her that he is not looking for a serious relationship, because his last affair ended badly and he does not want it to start again. Jennifer tells him that’s exactly what she wants. Is she really telling the truth?
Luna makes a discovery about Vanessa
At the Kepler house, Ulysses asks his mother how she feels at the moment, and she replies that everything is fine. He wants to know why she is so stubborn about buying the Pavilion of Flowers, but Vanessa refuses to talk about it.
During the discussion, Ulysses tells his mother that he would like to learn more about his past, because she never talks about it: “We too need to know where we come from”. It was then that Vanessa admitted to him that she was at school with Blanche and that it was a very difficult time for her.
Vanessa confides to her son: “When I was a child, I was poor and I was ashamed (…) One of the hardest things you can inflict on someone is humiliation, and me, as a child , I was very humiliated.” She also reveals that buying the Pavilion of Flowers could help her move on.
Later in the day, Ulysse meets Blanche on the terrace of the bar Le Mistral. He asks her to give up the Pavilion of Flowers. Surprised, Blanche asks him for explanations, and he responds: “Today, I understood that buying this place is almost vital for her.” He adds that he has never seen his mother in this state. Blanche agrees to make this major sacrifice.
Blanche, Luna and Eric go one last time to the old brothel. By giving up this symbolic place, Blanche feels like she is betraying Rose, the woman who wrote the diary. Luna asks her friend to lend her the book. Leafing through it quickly, she comes across an old photo with the words “For Lantier” written on the back. Could there be a link with Corine Lantier, alias Vanessa Kepler?
Kilian is placed in pre-trial detention
Patrick joins Jean-Paul on the Gorge au Loup hill. To this day, still no trace of Betty Solano. Jean-Paul informs his colleague that he does not really appreciate Ariane’s working methods, because she is convinced that Kilian is suspicious even though there is still no formal proof. Suddenly, the police get their hands on an object: it is a photo of Kilian and Betty.
Back at the Mistral police station, Ariane goes to Kilian’s cell and exclaims with great conviction: “When we lie, it’s because we have something to hide”. Meiline arrives and informs Ariane that she has nothing to do here. She takes the opportunity to introduce him to Maître Guillemette Izar, the lawyer who will defend the young man. The latter is very renowned in its field.
For her part, Aya informs her brother that she is summoned to the police station this Monday. She also reveals to Djawad that she is stressed, because she got rid of the knife found in the kitchen. Furious with his little sister, Djawad exclaims: “If the cops find out, you’ll be an accomplice.”
Later in the day, Meiline informs her colleagues that the judge has decided to place Kilian in pre-trial detention this evening. Ariane is happy with this decision, but Jean-Paul is less so. He says : “I find it hard to believe that a twenty year old kid is capable of doing all this alone”. Against all expectations, the commissioner seems to agree with him.
Aya discreetly goes to the place where she threw the kitchen knife belonging to Barbara. While the young woman seems to want to recover it, she discovers that workers have blocked the pool to renovate it. She leaves more worried than ever.
At the end of the day, Aya and Thomas go to the police station. They are waiting for Kilian to be taken into custody. Suddenly, he comes out with handcuffs on his hands. Thomas screams her name, while Aya throws herself into her boyfriend’s arms. Before leaving, Kilian looks at Aya and confesses his feelings to her: “I love you”. Is he really innocent?
