The TF1 singing competition is deploying a new formula for the last broadcast before the live final.

Saturday May 18, the eight talents still in the running will be decided by the vote of the public and a jury made up of four emblematic talents of the show.

The only certainty: each team will have its finalist.

The conquest of the trophy is coming to an end. While the talents will still compete during the cross-battles this Saturday, the outlines of an unprecedented semi-final are already taking shape for season 13 “The Voice”. There will be eight of them to get their ticket for the penultimate broadcast of the 2024 edition, scheduled for Saturday May 18 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1. They will sing with the coaches for the first time on set during a bonus with renewed rules. Because for the first time also, former emblematic participants of the show will play a decisive role.

Jérémy Frérot (season 3), Sila (season 4, winner of “The Voice All Stars”), Abi Bernadoth (winner of season 9) and Aurélien Vivos (winner of season 12) will be part of a special jury which will work with the public to nominate the finalists. The singers’ votes will only count for 20% of the votes. The key for candidates? A place in the team final. Enough to undoubtedly relieve Bigflo and Oli, none of whose talents qualified last season.

Before knowing who will represent the teams of Zazie, Vianney, Mika and the brothers, the artists still in the race will have to overcome the formidable and dreaded test of the super cross-battles, broadcast on May 11. The finalists will be joined by a fifth, selected by Camille Lellouche during the parallel competition “The Voice, Comeback” on TF1+.
