It was an open-hearted Patrick Bruel who confided on Saturday April 27 to Isabelle Ithurburu in 50′ Inside. On the occasion of the portrait of the week, the 64-year-old singer, who has been on tour since last February, spoke directly in the TF1 magazine about his status as a sex symbol, whose audience is predominantly female. “There are still a lot of women in concerts”remarks the interpreter of Break your voice.

Patrick Bruel: “I think I kept my feet on the ground”

Isabelle Ithurburu takes the opportunity to ask him if he has not been intoxicated by these numerous requests throughout his long and rich career. “All these women at your feet since the 1980s, has it never gone to your head?“, asks the one who succeeded Nikos Aliagas. Patrick Bruel then concedes that he was probably a little overwhelmed at times. “Certainly. It must have gone to my head a little. We cannot say that we emerge unscathed from such an explosion. But I believe – and those around me can attest to this – that I kept my feet on the ground as they say. And above all I was well surrounded”, however, he emphasizes.

The host then asked her “if it were more complicated when you are Patrick Bruel to meet someone”. “Meeting someone when you are Patrick Bruel is not more complicated. But the person knows you a little better than you know them, so there is obviously a path that must be taken. But it’s okay, it’s going pretty well.”he assures. As a reminder, Patrick Bruel married in 2004 with the writer Amanda Sthers – with whom he had two boys: Oscar and Léon – from whom he has been divorced since 2007.
