After more than a year of waiting, Mylène Farmer’s fans are getting ready to see the singer on stage at the Stade de France in Paris on September 27, 28 and October 1.
Four days before the first show, some of them, eager to see their idol in concert again, have already planned everything to ensure a place in the front row. According to several photos relayed on social networks, many fan tents have already been installed around the stadium.
“Currently lost at the Stade de France (…) I thought there were lots of homeless people with all these tents, but they’re Mylène Farmer fans, excuse me,” jokes an Internet user on X.
Postponement and addition of a new date
Originally scheduled for Friday June 30 and Saturday July 1, 2023, Mylène Farmer’s concerts at the Stade de France for her Nevermore Tour had been postponed at the request of the Police Prefecture due to the riots linked to the death of Nahel, 17-year-old teenager killed by a police officer after refusing to comply in Nanterre.
Following this decision, Mylène Farmer quickly broke her silence in a statement to express her “shock”, her “astonishment” and her “immense sadness” at the idea of not having been able to meet her fans again.
“I dreamed that we could love each other… I was waiting for this moment outside of time to share with you this emotion, this unique vertigo that only you are capable of providing. Immense sadness. I love you,” she declared in the same press release.
In the meantime, the singer had announced the addition of a new date at the Stade de France, October 1, 2025.
