This is the first time that Kopp and Housni have agreed on something!
Rohff disagrees
A few days ago, on the anniversary of DJ Mehdi’s deatha documentary was released on the life of the man who was the main architect of French rap in the 90s and early 2000s. During his numerous collaborations with the members of the Mafia K1 Fry, Mehdi will have taken the game to several new levels, particularly in terms of production quality and ambition, giving a unique side to the music offered by the guys from 94.
But There is one to whom this documentary “tribute” to the greatest beatmaker in the history of our French rap didn’t like it at all: Rohff, who also made this known on social media, in attacking the director of the film head-on. Booba has just added another layer, by joining for the first time the opinion of its biggest rival.
Booba and Housni finally agree!
Rohff had notably turned on the director Thibaut de Longevillewho was responsible for constructing this documentary, stating that the latter wanted overdoing the “sensationalism” and overplaying the “street” sidewhile using Rohff’s image without his consent and making him look like a “thug” (the rapper’s terms). While Booba had initially mocked Housni for his umpteenth rant, he has finally admitted that he agreed with him.
On this point he is right and for your information I had to participate in the documentary and I refused when I knew that it was directed by this same Thibault that I do not appreciate much. Dj Mehdi a genius gone too soon and with whom I collaborated on the title “Couleur ébène” which was a challenge and that I particularly appreciate.
Later in the day, videos were relayed by Booba on Twitter, in which we see him on stage at Bercy in 2011 paying a beautiful tribute to DJ Mehdi and 113as if to say that his respect for the producer is not new. We are very surprised to see Kopp admit that Rohff is right, no matter the subject!
