Next album in preparation
In a recent interview with Rebel Radio 92.5 FM in Chicago, Zakk Wylde confirmed that the band is actively working on a new album, which will be their twelfth studio release. According to him, in between tours, he continues to record tracks at his studio, the Black Vatican. “As soon as I have a quiet moment, I get to work. You just have to find the right time to dedicate yourself to it. I’m sure that before I know it, we’ll be back on the road.”Wylde said.
The band’s drummer Jeff Fabb also revealed in an interview with Metal Mayhem ROC that the new album could be released in early 2025. “We’re working on it right now. Zakk and I are going to finalize a few songs, and then we’ll probably go on tour with this album.”he said.
Berzerkus: A rock festival not to be missed
In anticipation of the album’s release, Black Label Society will headline Zakk Wylde’s inaugural Berzerkus music festival on September 14, 2024 in Poconos Park, Pennsylvania. The event will feature a lineup of some of the most influential artists in the rock and metal scene, including Cody Jinks, Clutch, Rival Sons, Black Stone Cherry, and tribute bands like ZOSO (Led Zeppelin) and The Iron Maidens (Iron Maiden).
This festival will be an opportunity for fans to discover the new artistic direction of Black Label Society while enjoying an intense rock atmosphere.
