“AS Saint-Étienne (Ligue 1) has shown its interest in the Senegalese central defender of FC Metz, Sadibou Sané. ASSE, looking for reinforcement for this winter transfer window, intends to acquire the 20-year-old player. Currently, discussions are on standby since the Metz club hopes to keep its player under contract until 2028, despite requests,” reveals the Senegalese media. Sané made his debut in L2 against Clermont on September 3, 2023. Aligned against ASSE during the double play-off confrontation last spring, he is under contract with the Grenats until 2028 and has made 14 matches in L2 this season, all as starters.
