With an increase of just over 2% compared to 2023 and a total attendance reaching 545,000 spectators in 2024, Les Grignoux are satisfied with the results of the past year. Especially after the difficulties encountered during the Covid pandemic. “This increase in our attendance is due to a great diversity of quality film offerings (The Zone of Interest, Dune 2, L’Amour Ouf, En Fanfare, Le Robot Sauvage, Pauvres Créatures, to name but a few) reinforced this year by two good summer surprises from French cinema, clearly in great shape: The Count of Monte Cristo and Un P’tit truc en plus“, comments the operator who manages the Sauvenière Churchill and Le Parc cinemas in Liège. The three cities have a cumulative attendance of 382,000 spectators, up 3% compared to the previous year. The Sauvenière cinema maintains its “leadership” with 251,000 admissions.
In 2024, the best films shown in our theaters were:
The Count of Monte Cristo: 30,700 entries
A little something extra: 21,700 entries
Dune: Part 2: 15,500 entries
L’Amour Phew: 12,700 entries
The Zone of Interest : 11 200 entrées
The Grignoux also salute the excellent films awarded at the Golden Globes: Emilia Perez, Conclave and The Substance, without forgetting of course the excellent start of the animated film FLOW.
