Sonia Martínez's documentary, best premiere of the year on RTVE Play

'The Last Night of Sonia Martínez' breaks records and achieves, in the first 15 days after its premiere, the best audience data for a documentary on RTVE Play of all those published on the platform throughout the year 2024. This documentary film of its own production traces the life path of the unforgettable presenter and has achieved the highest number of views of a documentary in its first two weeks, closely followed by 'Colón ADN. Its true origin'.

Directed by César Vallejo and Ángela Gallardo, it has the script collaboration of the writer Carlos Barea. It delves into the life of Sonia Martínez, from her meteoric rise on television with children's programs, to her tragic fall marked by her addiction to heroin, AIDS and prostitution.

With this success, RTVE Play consolidates its position as the most viewed Spanish OTT and its commitment to quality original content with great cultural value.
