Taking on the role of a young Wonka, the Oscar nominee sings, dances and thrills from the naivety of a luminous charactermore in line with Gene Wilder's version than the gloomy 2005 revision filmed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. In fact, this musical quality shown by Chalamet will be judged again in February 2025, when he steps into the shoes of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. Until then, it is impossible to resist the entire visual section created by the filmmaker Paul King.
