The continuation of the adventures of Niels Cartier

In 2015, the muscular film Antigang released in theaters. Signed by director Benjamin Rocher, it highlights Serge Buren (Jean Reno), the equivalent of the white wolf in the police. This brigade leader is surrounded by a unit with unconventional methods, to say the least, which includes Niels Cartier. These are the adventures of this police officer that we follow in the second opus Antigang, La Relève. In this sequel, the man decided to leave the brigade. A choice mainly motivated by the death of his wife following an intervention that went wrong. Eight years later, those responsible for this tragedy reappear. Niels therefore decides to take revenge with the help of his 14-year-old daughter.

Is a third opus of the Antigang saga on the program?

Although nothing is official yet, the idea of ​​a third opus does not seem to displease certain actors in the film. This is the case of Sofia Essaïdi, the interpreter of commissioner Aurore Chalet in Antigang, La Relève. She reveals to Tele-Leisurein an article published on August 25, 2023, about a possible third film: “Listen… We’re talking about it! [rires] Nothing has been done or decided, but it would really make me laugh to go there. When you do something new, you are always very afraid. Now that it's done, I just want to go back. I want to try comedy more seriously. I would be delighted to return to this adventure!”
