This is perhaps one of the portions whose progress is the least significant in the vast extension project of the parc Walt Disney Studios. But things are starting to move a little in terms of the future new access to Toy Story Playland and its surrounding gardens. While the foundations along the new path have been in place since the beginning of autumn, new earthworks have been carried out and developments are being carried out at the border with the public zone to prepare for the rest of the project.
The Toy Story Playland garden path is now clearly visible
All the electricity burying work is completed and the foundations with it. We can now clearly see where the giant statues of Woody and Jessie will be located, as well as the different poles of the electric suspensions.
The ground is being leveled and the boundaries of the driveway are now clearly visible.
But most of the work of the workers focuses on leveling the land and the clear layout of the future path which will not be straight as we have known since 2022 thanks to the first preparatory study unveiled at the D23 Expo.
Little by little, the area takes shape and the vegetation contributes to this structuring. Bamboos were planted, for example, on a plot of land, making it possible to isolate the area from Toy Story Playland of the rest ofAdventure Bay.
On the border with the existing mini-land, just after the partially destroyed domino wall, one area has been covered with concrete while another is ready to receive it. The workers are advancing into this virgin part of the extension of Toy Story Playland while the decors should arrive soon and the rest of the floors will then follow.
The extension of Toy Story Playland should be accessible from 2026 like the rest of the new features of the parc Walt Disney Studios led to be renamed Disney Adventure World. Stay tuned to Disneyphile to find out everything about the progress of this titanic project.
