“200 years in 2 hours”

Arnold Schwarzenegger has left his followers speechless. The former governor of California has returned to the world of festive and Christmas films 28 years after the resounding success of A father in trouble (1996), in which the Turboman doll gives him a hard time late on Christmas Eve.

On this occasion, Schwarzenegger dares with a slightly more “ambitious” role, and he transforms into Santa Claus himself to The Man with the Baga film inspired by Kay Starr’s classic song. Thus, the actor has reappeared on the streets of the well-known Manhattan neighborhood for filming, ready to embody the charismatic character, but with many concerned about his appearance.

It must be said that Schwarzenegger wears prosthetics and makeup to show off this look and be able to embody Santa Claus, but that has not stopped many of his followers from being concerned after seeing the images, where the Austrian can be seen walking slowly, hunched over and visibly aged.

After a user captured the actor participating in the filming of the film and shared the images on social networks, the comments did not stop happening. Above all, commenting on the obvious physical change of the once Mr. Olympia, who is now 77 years old.

“He is a year younger than Donald Trump,” comments one. “Schwarzenegger was once the strongest man in the world,” notes another. “What happened to Arnold? He doesn’t look like the usual Arnold. It seems like he has some health problem from what you can see,” says a third, concerned. “He has aged 200 years in two months.”

“Is that Arnold? It went from Terminator a Abuelinator overnight. Did you time travel to the 1800s and just come back? “Someone give this man a protein shake and a reboot!” asks another of his followers, joking and referring to one of his most famous roles. “Seems Terminator “that he has forgotten where he left the motorcycle parked.”

At 77 years old, Arnold Schwarzenegger is aware of his age and adapts his needs to the changes that his body has undergone over the years, full of strict training and work in action films. The actor himself confessed a few months ago to Men’s Health that he is no longer who he was on many levels, and after years of great effort, he has ended up paying “a high price” for it.

Schwarzenegger has been in poor health for several years.

Arnold Schwarzenegger confessed last May on his podcast Arnold’s Pump Club who has had to undergo three serious surgeries, the result of heart problems that he has had all his life. Three “open heart” operations in which “a pacemaker” had been implanted to help his heart work well.

“If I am here it is thanks to medical innovation and for having listened to my doctors,” he admitted then, adding that his life was in danger. His life has been much slower since then, and it is already visible. “That’s life with a genetic heart problem, but you won’t hear me complain.”
