In less than three weeks, filming will begin. SCREAM 7 and practically every day we have new additions to the cast of the film that Kevin Williamson will direct.
Today we learned that Anna Camp (“Pitch Perfect”) and Sam Rechner (“The Fabelmans”) are two new potential victims of Ghostface in this title scheduled for release next February 27, 2026.
Neve Campbell will be the main protagonist of the film and alongside her will be Courteney Cox again as the intrepid Gale Weathers. Plus Mason Gooding (Chad) will also be back after having appeared in the previous two films. For their part, Isabel May, Neve Campbell, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann and McKenna Grace are also new faces in the franchise.
Sidney Prescott will be back in the film and according to actress Neve Campbell, “We are going to follow Sidney’s story. I was introduced to the concept of ‘Scream 7’ and that was the reason I joined the film. I “I love these films, it is very fun to participate in them. I am very grateful for them; I would never have imagined being part of a saga that would last so many decades.”
It remains to be confirmed whether Patrick Dempsey will be back as the detective as Mark Kincaid as well as Hayden Panettiere as Kirby.
