If the series is close to its conclusion – the final five episodes of season 6 arrive in early 2025 – the universe of the saga centered on martial arts launched in 1984 is still far from being buried. Here indeed comes a new opus in the saga at the cinema this time.
Here is the first trailer for Karate Kids : Legendsa film which will, unsurprisingly, play the cards of nostalgia and novelty in an attempt to appeal to all audiences.
When Karate and Kung-fu meet
Directed by Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the Fucking World), Karate Kids : Legends therefore follows both the reboot The Karate Kid from 2010 and to the series Cobra Kai. If the plot will center on young Li Fong (Ben Wang), early fans should be delighted.
Indeed, to support this young kung fu prodigy affected by a family tragedy and forced to move to New York, will be present his teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and, as reinforcement, the original “karate kid”: Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Two legends to best combine two fighting styles in one in order to win a karate competition and help a friend in need.
