Until Dawnit is undoubtedly one of the best games of the previous generation (on PS4). A survival horror that no one saw coming, but which clearly had an impact on players when it was released at the end of summer 2015. Since then, many players have been hoping and waiting for a sequel (which seems to be on the way).
For its part, Sony also seems to want to highlight this series with the recent arrival of the remake and the production of a film. We thus learn that the adaptation ofUntil Dawn will be released in cinemas on April 25, 2025with David F. Sandberg (Shazam, Lights Out) to realization. Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman were in charge of the screenplay. The duo was already the origin of the scripts for That, The None or even Annabelle.
On the casting side, Peter Stormare will return to reprise his role as Dr. Hill. As for the students who will have to survive “until dawn” we find Ella Rubin (The Idea of You), Michael Cimino (Love Victor), Ji-young Yoo (Expats), Odessa A’zion (Hellraiser ) or even Maia Mitchell.
The shooting of the film ended at the beginning of Octoberand to make matters worse, it coincided with the release of the remake.
