“L’Amour ouf” by Gilles Lelouche
Love phew tells the passionate love between Jackie (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and Clotaire (François Civil) at two different times, first as a teenager then as adults after Clotaire was released from prison. Bitter about his years lost behind bars for a sentence wrongly served, Clotaire discovers upon his release that Jackie has married a young entrepreneur played by Vincent Lacoste.
Selected in official competition at the last Cannes Film Festival, on a screenplay co-signed by Audrey Diwan, Ahmed Hamidi and Gilles Lellouche and adapted from the eponymous novel by Irishman Neville Thompson, L’Amour ouf is the third feature film by the actor and director
