With The Dutroux Affair by du Welz, a very strong peasant drama in 18th century Austria and an astonishing portrait of Robbie Williams.

“Maldoror” (Fabrice du Welz)

First part of a trilogy devoted to news items, Feeling sick rereads, in a very personal way, the Dutroux affair. Faithful to his exploration of evil, Fabrice du Welz creates a harsh film, a search for justice through the power of cinema. And this through the investigation of a young gendarme (Anthony Bajon) on the verge of madness trying to bring down a dangerous pedophile (Sergi López). 2h35. (HH)
