Captain America 4 : Brave New World brings out the big guns with an action-packed trailer.
Captain America 4titled Brave New Worldhas a lot to do. In addition to having to impose the superhero now played by Anthony Mackie, the film by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) promises to renew the geopolitical issues of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Through the Celestial of the Eternals, which various nations seek to appropriate for its adamantium (in order to reintroduce the X-Men in passing), the fear of a world war will bring together many points of the MCU.
Problem is, this crossroads is currently struggling to intrigue. After apparently complicated test screenings, which required a lot of reshoots and an explosion of the budget, Brave New World is currently suffering from average estimates in terms of its start at the box office. With great blasts of epic music and action shots, the new trailer for the film tries to change the game.
Captain America Pan pan boom boom
If it is not for its way of explaining the place of the Celestial in the story, we must admit that we do not have much new to sink our teeth into. At the same time, Captain America 4 had already shown a lot, including the transformation of Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) into the Red Hulk, which should arguably be the climax of the film.
We will nevertheless note the presence of the voice and silhouette of Tim Blake Nelsonwho will play the more or less secret villain of the feature film. Indeed, although the information has been circulating for a long time, many spectators will be surprised (or simply confused) by the return of the Leader, the antagonist that the actor played more than 15 years ago now in The Incredible Hulkthe most memorable film in the MCU (no).
In any case, if we add the villain played by Giancarlo Esposito or even the new Falcon, there is something to eat and drink in this Captain America 4so much so that one wonders how it will manage all its subplots. To get an idea, we’ll have to wait February 12, release date of the feature film in French theaters.
