Unveiled in small steps in recent weeks, the restyled Enyaq is officially revealed today in the simplest device. As expected, the changes are quite numerous.

For its first foray into the electric world, Skoda has succeeded quite well. So no, it did not manage to overshadow the Tesla Model Y. But, compared to other of its competitors (Nissan Ariya, Toyota bZ4X or Volkswagen ID.4), it is doing better or even significantly better. All the meters are therefore green for the Enyaq. And to take it a little further upwards, it now benefits from a fairly deep facelift. The Enyaq coupe, launched a year later (in 2021), is also affected. Focus on the new products for this 2025 vintage.

Developments especially at the front

The Czech manufacturer hasn’t changed everything on this Enyaq either, but enough things for it to be noticed. Actually, the bulk of the developments are concentrated at the front of the vehicle. She is largely inspired by that of the Elroqnew addition to the electric range. The Enyaq and Enyaq coupe adopt a look at two floors. The main LED or matrix lighting as an option is refined and we find two additional optical units on both sides on each side of the redesigned front fascia. The grille, now illuminated, is flattened. Also new, the Skoda logo disappears on the hood. Instead, we find the name of the brand.

Identical profile and rear

No change to the profile or the rear part. Alone a new pair of rims and a new green color are worth noting in addition. If the wheelbase does not change one iota (passengers will not have to complain because there was no shortage of space), the changes make the vehicle one centimeter larger, he now measures 4.66 m.

Autonomies in (very) slight increase

Skoda has mainly sorted out the range. Actually, the 60 versions equipped with the small 58 kWh battery were only available from stock, they are not renewed. There remains more than the 85 model and its battery with an unchanged capacity of 77 kWh and a single power of 286 hp (much more than you need on a daily basis). In fact, all you have to do is choose between propulsion (85) et all-wheel drive (85x).

Neat aerodynamics

Thanks to more careful aerodynamics (Cd going from 0.264 to 0.245 on the “normal” Enyaq and from 0.234 to 0.225 on the coupe), Skoda promises up to 590 km of autonomy. Good but also not a striking difference compared to the old one which could reach 588 km in the 85 Coupé version.

30 minutes of charging to recover 80% of battery life

As for the charging power, it is stationary. Count 135 kW for the 85 model et 175 kW for Enyaq 85x. What recover 10 to 80% energy in less than 30 minutes. In alternating current, you have to make do with 11 kW.

The trunk volume remains the same

The Enyaq like the Enyaq coupe loses none of their family capabilities and their practical aspects with a stationary trunk volume (585 liters for the first, 570 for the second), lots of tips (driver’s side umbrella, ice scraper, etc.).

Waiting for prices

If the prices are not yet known, we can already say that, as a result of the disappearance of the 60 model, it will not be not possible to find a model under €50,000. But this was already the case before the restyling. If you want to pay less, you have the Elroq now anyway. No marketing date has been announced but it won’t be long. We will get back to you with all the details in due course.
